He makes the bed, I make the coffee!

Yes, the title of my post... HE makes the bed EVERY day and I appreciate it so much!  It is one of those things that I have ALWAYS done before I left the house!  Well, since Marc retired he stays in and gets a little extra snoozing:)  When he gets up, he makes the bed, puts all of the pillows on it and comes downstairs!  I make the coffee at night before bedtime, when I get up I turn it on and put the creamer in his cup:)  I guess this post is about teamwork!  I appreciate the things he does for me and he appreciates the things I do for him!  We make a really good team and I am thankful!

My yard swing had a broken/rotten arm on it!  I asked him if he could make a new arm or I was going to have to buy a new one!  He took the swing apart, measured the arm and cut it PERFECTLY:)  Now it is gonna get cleaned and hung back up in the yard for some Summer SWINGING!  I believe there isn't anything that he can't do!

Sweet rosebud!  Blooming after a rain!  Love it!  The rosebud has nothing to do with teamwork, just pretty:)

A little shopping is good for the soul:)

I haven't been shopping much lately, but had a $15.00 coupon at Penney's!  Just $15.00 off of $15.00 SOOOO that meant FREE!  Gotta use a coupon like that and yesterday was the expiration day!  So off I went and had myself a little bit of shopping fun!  My Honey has lost so much weight and needs some new shorts etc.  I enjoyed looking at all of the Spring/Summer stuff for women but didn't buy myself anything!  I did find a few things for him and a shirt for Autumn!  It was fun and I spent my coupon:)

Austin had a late ballgame and it was a bit chilly at the old ballfield!  Today... it is RAINING and I am doing the GWA Shuttle!  I enjoy seeing the Grandkids and hearing them chat about their day!  OK, gotta run!

We celebrate Birthdays for weeks!  We had Avery's party last week because of the ballgames this weekend!  We always go to dinner on their birthday but have games tonight and Alex has practice!  BUT we'll be celebrating today at Avery's school and celebrating together this evening!  Don't worry, I'll be sure to take pictures:)

It drizzled a little but didn't rain on Alex's games for opening day!  BUT Autumn's 3rd game was rained out!  It has been raining ALL night and storming in some places!  Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!  HUGS!

Oh my... what a day!

What a day!  We started out the day at Alex's Grandparent's Day Celebration and she was happy to have us there!

The school put on quite a show!

Alex showed us her favorite thing to do on the playground!

And then we went into the courtyard for snacks!

A wonderful display of flowers and tasty treats!

Then there was the PROM!  Autumn was so beautiful!

It makes me happy... when she is happy!

She was gorgeous and Justin was handsome!

Gotta get busy, Alex has a parade for opening day and two Softball games!  Autumn has a tournament AND it looks like it is gonna rain:(  Darn it!  Oh well, we'll have fun anyway!  Hope you are having a blessed Saturday!  BIG HUGS!

Dogwoods, roses and ballgame!

I took  a walk yesterday and snapped some pictures of the beautiful dogwoods by my driveway!  They are blooming WAY early this year!  They are always blooming at Easter but this year things are a bit confused!

I have ONE rosebud:)  Ahhh but she is pretty!

And the evening was spent at the ballfield!  Austin had a game and it was windy and cold!  Chilly night here in Georgia!  I was listening to these two chat as they were drawing pictures!  Avery says to Alex, "I wish I could draw like you"!  Alex says to Avery, "I don't know why you want to draw like me... your pictures are really nice"!  Little ones make me smile!  Alex was encouraging her little Sister!  SWEET YOUNGUNS!

Today is Grandparent's Day at Alex's school!  Gotta go get ready!  Alex said that we HAVE to come because we ARE Grandparents:)

Too much good food!

We had dinner last night with friends and this is the ONLY picture I took!  Dessert:)  Too much yummy food!

Maggiano's Italian Restaurant at Perimeter!  We ate and ate and brought home more than we ate! We chose the Family dinner!  Two Appetizers, Two different Salads, FOUR entrees and TWO desserts!  WHAT were we thinking?

It was delicious and we have enough left for dinner tonight!  We laughed and had the most wonderful time!  Hope you all are having a great day!  I gotta get going, busy day!  HUGS!

Trial AND Error:)

I stayed home all day!  Cleaning and cleaning some more and up and down the attic stairs, bringing down the Easter tubs!  I know it is a while until Easter but I needed to inventory ALL of the stuff I have before I buy more:)  This little cutie is a new purchase from ROSS this year!  Isn't he cute?  I love him on my front door!

These little guys have been with me since I had ONLY one grandchild!
