Swimming and picking tomatoes...

An early morning swim:)  They enjoyed it so much and I enjoyed watching them:)  The pictures on the right are of them pretending to fish!

And before I took them home... off to the garden to gather some tomatoes!  Alex said "I don't eat them, I just like to pick them"!  Avery LOVES eating and picking!

Sweet time in the garden...

When I took the girls home, I enjoyed the afternoon with the rest of the family!  Can you believe that I piled up with my daughter and watched TV?  Yep, I sure did!  We spent some quality time doing absolutely nothing:)  Tracy is moving her fingers and bending her arm!!!!!  I am tickled pink with her determination to get that arm back:)  On Sunday, I went down and asked our Preacher to Pray for her and pray he did!  I believed in God's healing the entire time and still do!  When I was leaving the Church after the Service, Preacher Tommy said he knew that there were good things ahead for Tracy,
I believe that too:)

I am making SALSA this morning:)  I will be busy pealing tomatoes, chopping peppers and garlic!  YUM... guess what's for dinner?

Autumn has Senior pictures this morning, sniff sniff!  I get tears just thinking about it!

Have a blessed day dear friends!  BIG HUGS!

Smiles...

These little ones had the best time swimming!  I started out the day at the pool store to make sure the water was good to swim in and with a few adjustments... good to go:)

Alex entertaining me:)

They dressed up in dresses and blankets that look like dresses:)

The artist and her masterpiece of herself!

AND then a little more dress-up!

We had a yummy dinner!  When they started to sit down... Alex said "this looks like a buffet"!  I made many of their favorites and Avery ate a ton of tomatoes:)  After dinner, Alex wanted to sew something!  I found some fabric and we cut out a little dress for a tiny bear!  She stitched it up and look how cute she is:)  Avery wanted her bear to wear a tux!  Gotta finish it this morning:)

I am up having my coffee and haven't heard any footsteps yet!  I love seeing their little sleepy faces come peeking around the corner!  They will each come and snuggle with me for a few minutes when they get up!  Grandchildren are a gift from Heaven!  Have a blessed day dear friends, HUGS!

My Sunday and fried green beans...

Good morning everyone!  I enjoyed my Sunday, Church was awesome, back home for a little lunch, a short nap and off to the funeral home!  A friend that I worked with lost her Mother!  We had a nice visit with Linda and her Husband!

What's for dinner?  I have been putting off trying the fried green beans!  Well, I can now say that I have tried it!  Marc loved them:)  I won't be making them too often...
the grease is just yuck to me!

Now it is Monday, not much left of July, school starts in two weeks... WHAT?  Where has the Summer gone?  Autumn starts her Senior year, Austin is a Freshman... I sure hope this School Year goes slow as molasses:)  I have little girls coming to spend the night with me and Pa:)  Love having them... they sure put a smile on my face!  Tracy has therapy this morning and a visit with the Surgeon this afternoon!  Praying all is well there:)  Thank you for your continued prayers!

Have a blessed day dear friends!  BIG HUGS!

Good news/bad news... but mostly good:)

We'll start with the good news!  Another wonderful week at the beach!

We were up early yesterday morning, packed the car and headed out!  So long to Clearwater Beach Florida!

It was a beautiful city and YES, the WATER was CLEAR:)

I couldn't wait to get home, HELLO Georgia!  I missed my home and my family!

AND as we arrived home...  The Mater vines were hanging full!

There were blooms on the monkey grass...

I headed out to gather the goodies and the counter became full of maters and a few cukes...

The day lily blooms were beautiful to welcome me home:)

AND then the bad part!  When I came home, opened the blinds (as I always do) I said OMG, what's wrong with the pool?  A hose had come off the pump and the pool had drained down a couple feet!  OH NO!  I yelled!  WELL, we started adding water back in and as you can see on the right... by bedtime it was full again!  We are gonna test the pump this morning and I am praying it is OK!

So after a week away, the only bad thing is the pool problem!  We had a safe trip down to Clearwater, I got to spend some quality time with my oldest granddaughter, watched some good ball, ate lots of good food, spent some quiet time on the beach and a safe trip back home!  The pool problem will hopefully be fixed and we'll be swimming again soon!  Have a blessed Sunday dear friends, BIG HUGS!

I wanna go home...

Time to go home!  We lost yesterday after another rain delay!  NOW, I wanna go home and stay there for a while!  We had a wonderful tournament and visited a beautiful city but it is time to go home:)

We had a great talk after the game and tears!  This is the end of this team:(

Marc was the Stat guy and they said lots of good things about him!

AND one of the Team Mom's made each girl a blanket in their College colors!  This is Autumn's:)
Gotta run before my Hubby leaves me:)  Have a blessed day dear friends, HUGS!

We won, we won and the rain came...

Up early yesterday watching this bunch of girls play!  They played their hearts out and won and won...

We had breaks between games and I enjoyed the beautiful blooms...

AND then the 6:30 game became wait, wait, wait and the rain flooded the fields...

The sky was beautiful but...

After lots of work on the fields to get them dried out, NO GAME:(

We are up early again this morning for an 8:30AM game!  Hope the heavy rains didn't mess the fields up again!  Gotta run!  Have a blessed day, HUGS!

Toes in the sand...

After a loss yesterday morning at the ballfield, we headed to the beach!

We found a small park, threw out our beach towels and enjoyed the ocean breeze!

SO many pretty shells:)  Look at this tiny one I found:)

Shells everywhere!

We were about the only ones on this stretch of beach!

And some feathered friends:)

I stopped to snap a few pictures!

Not sure if this is a shark's tooth but I brought it with me anyway:)

The sun was bright and the ocean breeze felt SO good!

Up early, ballgame this morning:)  Hope we win!  Have a blessed day dear friends, HUGS!

Here comes the sun...

The morning sun coming up over the trees early yesterday at the ball field!  It got hot quickly and I was chasing the shade:)

This little fella was watching the game too:)

And his friend was checking out the umpire!

The games we have played are called pool games and this morning... we start on this big bracket!

The fields are all very nice and the palm trees are so pretty:)

I enjoyed an afternoon at the Mall with Autumn!  We had lunch and did some shopping, ending up at the frozen yogurt shop:)  YUM!

The Hubby and I had a nice evening sitting out by the pool!

This little guy was really checking us out:)

AND then dinner at Joe's!  Delicious!

Our first game is later this morning!  Can't wait to watch our girls play:)  Have a blessed day dear friends!  BIG HUGS!

Interference on the field...

Interference on the field... SEAGULLS:)  Oh my they loved that grass!  The outfielders weren't too happy sharing the field with them but they didn't stay long!

So, who hit in the winning run?  That would be Autumn:)  That's her at 3rd:)  Love watching her play!

AND having palm trees at the ballfield is a plus:)

Early game this morning!  Gotta get going!  Have a blessed day dear friends, BIG HUGS!

Nationals 2013...

Autumn's team together for Nationals 2013!  Final games for this team as so many are heading to College in the Fall!

Sand sculpture extraordinaire to welcome us!

Team together for dinner:)

Guest speaker Michele Smith!  Olympic Gold Medal Winner!  I held one of her medals... they are heavy!

She told of her experiences winning the gold medals AND how she recovered from a serious injury which sounded so much like Tracy's!  Inspiring story of recovery!

The SUNSET was breathtakingly GORGEOUS!

And then to finish off the night... FIREWORKS on the beach!

A night for the memory book!  Games start later today:)  Can't wait to experience it all!  Have a blessed day dear friends, HUGS!
