Spending Halloween at State...

Happy Halloween!  We are celebrating at the State tournament!  It isn't easy getting here, lots of hard work but they did it again:)  For the last three years, this is where they have been... STATE!  I am SO proud of ALL of these girls!  What a wonderful experience!

These friends are rooming together!  I know that they are having a TON of fun!

Sports are a big deal at this School!  The little kids are lining the way cheering them on as the police escort leads the way!

Patience...

Patience!  My trumpets are gonna bloom, yes they are:)  I have to have patience!  They have already been covered with sheets for a couple of cold nights!  But when they bloom, they are beautiful and smell heavenly:)

SO, I'll be patient and watch for the blooms to open!  I love capturing the little buds when they first appear, then each day taking a peek to see how far they have come!  I do the same with tomatoes, roses and other flowers:)  Enjoying each little thing...

So early Monday morning.

There wasn't a mulberry bush but I did do the laundry on Monday morning!  In fact, I stayed in all day and accomplished SO much!  It felt good when I hit the hay last night to look back at my day!  I have lots of areas around my home that need work, de-cluttering is what I call it!  One day at a time is how I am tackling it!  As I was doing the laundry yesterday, I was thinking about those days when my Mama would hang the clothes on the old clothes-line in the back yard!  That was a lot harder than tossing them in the dryer:)  I think the next verse in the song for Tuesday is ironing... hmmmm not sure I'll be doing that!

Sweet and restful Sunday...

Saturday was fun and busy... Sunday was totally NOT busy!  I enjoyed Church with my Baby Sister and her gorgeous family!  Take a look at these singers!  Cindy's entire family is up there singing their little hearts out!  Love this family!

It was a gorgeous Fall day!  I stopped for a few groceries on the way home and didn't do another thing the rest of the day:)  I watched Football and cooked dinner, watched baseball to finish off the day and that was about it!  Sometimes we need a good day like that!  I am enjoying my coffee and GMA this morning!  Have a blessed day dear friends, BIG HUGS!

I had NO plans to leave the house yesterday, but... fun called my name and I answered:)  I spent the afternoon at Corn Dawgs with these Sweet Granddaughters and my Daughter!  We had SO much fun!  Thanks Tracy for pulling me

It was a VERY COLD night!  We had lots of blankets, jackets, gloves and a thermos of hot chocolate!  The game was a nail biter but we lost it in the end!  Great game Dawgs!  This was the last home game for Austin's team!

Enjoying TWO wins yesterday... moving on to THE State Championship!  PRICELESS!  There are eight teams in our Region moving on and ours is one of them!

I know that the Coaches are extremely proud of these girls!

That smile, pretty much says how happy she is to be going to State!  Last night was her LAST game on her SCHOOL's field!  Smiles on my face and tears in my eyes!

Yes, you can smile and cry at the same time!  I am happy for her accomplishments and sad that it will be over!

OH fiddle-dee-dee... let's go to State before I get all sappy:)

Queen BB...

Queen BB!  Just chillaxin:)  Lucky Dog, Lucky Dog!  Seriously this is one lucky dog!  She has this nice new bed and this is the way she was laying most of the day yesterday!  Finally I had to snap a picture!  

Tracy and I enjoyed a great day together yesterday!  We giggled a lot, enjoyed lunch and our Soaps together!  My Girl and her Mama!  Today is a big day for our Autumn!  Her school ball team is playing to go to the State Championship!  Win two out of three and they go to State!  I really want that for Autumn!  She loves going and since this is her last year... well, I want it for her!  GO AUTUMN!

Lunch w/ friends, YUMMY dinner and DWTS...

I met these friends for lunch yesterday!  We used to work together and I miss them all... I don't miss work, just the friends:)  As I was driving up to see them, I was thinking about all of the days that I traveled those roads!  30 years of it!  LONG rides sitting in traffic... don't miss that either!  I am thankful that I put in the time so that I don't have to work today:)  We chatted and enjoyed our visit, hugs all around and back home!

What's for dinner?  Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot pie:)  I use a recipe that I got from my Niece Kelly YEARS ago!  It was SO tasty!  My Hubby said numerous times "this is delicious"!  That's when I know he loves what I cook:)  It was warm and just right for our dinner!

We settled in for our Monday night favorite show!  DWTS!  Nobody went home because of a technical glitch the week before!  There are 8 left to dance again next week:)

Cold?

It's a little bit chilly this morning!  I turned the heat on to knock the chill off:)  I know that it is going to get much colder!  It is just that first cool air that makes me search out my sweatshirts and warm socks!

I am enjoying my morning HOT cup of coffee and not moving too fast!  The weekend was SO much fun, I hope I get invited to EVERY Wedding:)  I am having lunch with some old friends from work today!  Can't wait to catch up with therm!  Have a blessed day, BIG HUGS!  

The wedding bells rang...

Rainy morning on their Wedding Day but it cleared up and the sun was peeking thru the clouds!  It WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!

I LOVE Weddings!  My Niece Kelly had been planning her Son's Wedding for a long time and that hard work REALLY paid off!  Kelly, you looked gorgeous on the arm of your handsome Hubby!

Wedding bells are ringing...

It is Wedding Day for my Great-Nephew Cameron and his SOON-to-be Wife Alicia!  I am SO happy for them and excited to watch them start their life together!

Thursday night football...

Thursday night football!  The cutout that they ran thru said "This is what greatness looks like"!

It was an awesome game and we won!

Then it started to drizzle a little!  Got wet but we hung in there to the end:)  I am SO proud of my Austin!  They called his name SEVERAL times for things he did on the field!

I visited my Brother Marshall and Sister-in-law June yesterday!  It was a wonderful visit with two people that I LOVE!  We have a wedding tomorrow and I am SO excited!  I LOVE weddings:)  My Niece Kelly's Son, Cameron is getting married!  It is going to be AWESOME!
