If you miss me...

If you miss me this week, I'll be watching my girl play ball in a big tournament!  I am not sure if or how much I will be blogging but just know that I will be enjoying cheering for my Autumn!  Just a few more tournaments before she leaves for College and I will be right there to watch her as much as possible!

Fire and frog...

Bad start to Saturday morning for someone!  I was leaving the house to run my errands, stopped for the firetruck to go by and then I saw where it was headed!  Later in the day, I heard someone say that the people had just put all of their purchases in the car when it caught on fire:(  Thankful nobody was hurt!

When you are of a certain age, you spend your Saturday evening doing yard work:)  One cutting, one using the blower... standing and talking about what needs trimming:)  YES, we do things like that!  It is OK too!  We got the work done!  When I was going back inside, I saw this little fella!  When I say little, it is tiny!

Do you see how little it is?  Not much bigger than my finger nail!  He sure was cute and sat really still while I took a couple of pictures:)

Yep, that was an exciting Saturday:)  The Braves played a double-header and I watched both games AND they won them both!  I hope you all are having a peaceful Sunday morning!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

THE Mall and chillaxin...

Marc and I made the long ride to this HUGE Mall yesterday!  He uses an iPod when he runs and it croaked on him!  It was still under warranty but we had to take it to the Apple store!  OH this MALL is dreamy!  My Niece Suzanne lives really close to this Mall, lucky girl:)

I would like to eat here!  Check out that concrete horsey!  There were TWO of them!  The guy in the yellow shirt?  That's my hubby on a mission to get him a new iPod!  ME?  I am hanging out taking pictures and wanting to shop:)

We left the Mall, drove to Tracy's to deliver Derek's Birthday gift!  Check out Frankie!  He is chillaxin in his cabana:)  Cool dude!

It was a nice day!  Now it's the weekend, again:)  The days are flying right by!  HALF of 2014 is almost gone!  TIME... slow down, please, slow down!  Enjoy your day dear friends!  HUGS and PRAYERS coming your way!

The book...

Derek (my Son-in-law) recently lost his Grandmother!  Actually Grandmother Dorothy was everybody's grandmother!  She was a writer and an Angel here on earth!  She wrote for the local newspaper and published two books!  I was fortunate to find one of them on-line, ordered it and received it!

#40...

Happy Happy Birthday to my Son-in-law Derek!  It happens to be #40:)  We are usually at the beach on his birthday and get to celebrate with some good seafood!  I hope this day is extra special for you Derek!  This is a picture from Tracy and Derek's wedding!  I wanted to show how long he has been in our Family:)  I love him like a Son!

And this year on Vacation with the family:)  Thank you for being a GREAT husband to my daughter, for being a GREAT father to my grandchildren and for sharing your family with us!  We love you!

Fun day, butterfly magnet and dinner...

Tiffany and I had a great time yesterday!  I got to see their home and I LOVED it!  Seeing my Parent's cabinets in their place being used by them just made my heart happy!  While we were out shopping, I found this butterfly for a screen!  Tiffany figured out that it was a magnet, one for each side!  I happened to have a small hole in my screen on the back porch!  Covered it right up:)  We had lunch at Panera Bread and enjoyed our day together as well as returning their gifts they received that were duplicates:)

Back home, a little walk around the yard to check out the garden and blooms!  This was a birthday gift LAST year and it has the prettiest lavender bloom:)

I SO love seeing a new bloom!  Isn't it the little things in life that give you the most joy?  
Yep, I think so too:)

Dinner, YUM!  The tomatoes and cucumbers are from our garden:)  Fried pork chops, tasty:)  Corn and squash... Oh we enjoyed our Country dinner:)

Visiting day and shopping...

I had ONE thing that I was gonna do yesterday and that was visit my Brother and Sister-in-law:)  I made a sandwich, filled my water cup, grabbed some chips and off I went!  I spent the afternoon in my favorite chair at their house, chatting about just about everything, watching the birds out their window and just enjoying my time with them!  My Brother said he was sweaty when I got there, he had been working in the garden:)  What a miracle it is to see him doing SO well!  I am thankful every day that God is healing him, he sure blesses me!  As I was leaving their house, I snapped this picture of their garden out the window !  It looks like my Daddy's garden and I know he is smiling from Heaven:)  

Today... I am doing a little shopping with Bradley's Bride Tiffany!  She has some returns to make and so do I:)  Bradley had to work out of town this week, I know the Newlyweds miss each other terribly!  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Church and a birthday...

This is my Nephew Bubba and his Granddaughter Gracie!  He hasn't seen her in 3 months but when he DID get to see her, he took her to Church:)  Prayers answered!  Look at his smile!  He adores this little girl! 

Justin's Girlfriend Kimberly was Baptized yesterday!  She is such a sweetheart and we all love her:)  The picture is blurry but I had to share it with you anyway!

Yesterday was my Niece Crystal's 46th Birthday!  Happy Birthday Crystal!  I know your Family made it special, just like you deserved:)

SO, as I start my Monday morning... I am thankful for this day!  I am enjoying my morning coffee and sitting in my favorite chair!  Vacation is nice but so is home:)  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending hugs and prayers from my heart to yours!

Love your life...

This is the book I chose as my beach read...  I only read a little bit because of all of the activities!  Isn't it a beautiful book?  Love your life!

We loved our week at the beach!  Tracy and I laughed until we cried SO many times!  She is my best friend and we enjoy each and every moment we spend together!  That is our house we stayed in behind us:)  Right on the beach!

AND... we gather for a photo shoot, set the camera timer, I run jump in and we all giggle when we have to do it again and again:)

As the sun set on this trip, the memories are wonderful!  Lots of beach time with the family and Bradley and Tiffany's Wedding!  Memories were made and I loved my time with Family and Friends, old and new!

Home sweet home...

We are home from our week away for our Family Vacation and the wedding!  It is SO nice to be home!  Don't 'cha just love pulling in the driveway and getting back in your own home?  I sure do!  I love going to the beach and we had a wonderful time!  We ate too much, got to witness Bradley and Tiffany's gorgeous beach wedding and played on the beach and in the ocean!  BUT... home is where my heart is!  The VERY first thing I did was go to check out the garden!  TOMATOES and CUCUMBERS galore:)  I am tickled, well except for a few whiteflies helping themselves to some of the plants!  Anyway, I can't wait to bite into one of these babies!  I know they will be 
YUMMY in my TUMMY!

I also have some beautiful blooms to welcome me home:)  My Birthday Hibiscus from my Niece Sonia just keeps making me smile!  

And this one was Mama's Mother's Day peach colored hibiscus!  I rescued it from the cemetery, it was in need of water and some TLC!  Marc said he didn't think it would make it!  I said, plant it anyway:)  Just look at this pretty bloom!  
I love it!

I wanted to do a quick post and let all of my Family and friends know that we made it home safe and sound!  I will be sitting in my favorite chair in just a little while seeing what all of my Blog Buddies have been up to!  Thank you for the prayers and sweet comments about the wedding:)  Love you all!

The day after...

This is how we started out the day after the Wedding!  Breakfast at Cindy's with Family and Friends:)

Who can cook up something this good for a ton of people at the beach?  My Sister!  SO delicious!  I could eat this every day:)

We sat on the beach until the rain came!  It didn't last long and we all got ready for a fun evening!  Austin hung out with friends and the rest of us went in search of an amusement park!

We found the perfect amusement park!  These little girls rode SO many rides!

Tracy and Pa rode with them!  Autumn and Derek are on the west coast for a tournament, we are already missing them!

Yep, they wanted to keep riding...

But, we were getting hungry!  Tracy and Marc wanted oysters so OFF we went to Hammerhead Fred's!  Oysters on the half shell for them, shrimp for me...  Crabclaws for the little ones and a little fun with the leftover claws:)

Our Wedding Vacation is coming to a close and we have really enjoyed our time together!  I am grateful for my family and the Beautiful Wedding that we witnessed!  I pray that everyone has a safe trip home!  Love you all!
