I had a very busy day yesterday, running errands and getting my hair done:)  Up and at 'em this morning!  Visiting friends for snacks this evening, a little early Trick or Treating and Austin's Football game!  Sounds like I will be tired when I lay my head down tonight!  I hope you all have a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween! 

Finding old treasures...

 My Husband has been working in our outer garage cleaning out things that have been there since we moved here!  He brought in a bag last night filled with gloves:)  Silk, crocheted, white and beige...  He said "you want to keep these"?  I said YES!  I can't wait to go thru them:)

Also, the family will appreciate this picture!  An OLD Easter picture!  Justin is the little boy in the middle of the picture, Cindy, Sonia and another little boy on the right... perhaps Ross?  My Daddy on the left:)  SWEET memories of Easters past!  Love looking back and remembering

I made "Bride and Groom" people out of some like them for Bradley and Tiffany:)  I have another wedding next Spring!  Better get busy

So... the Giants won the World Series and I think BOTH teams really entertained us with great baseball!  Chilly weather ahead here, gotta get out the warm duds for Halloween and the weekend!

Game 7 tonight and giggles...

Yes, the World Series is going to game 7!  I love it when it does that:)  I mean... don't cha feel kinda cheated when it doesn't go all the way?  I do!  Anyway, our team didn't even make it this year but I am watching the Series and they have really seemed deserving to be there!  I did a little research to see how many times there has been a game 7... 35:)

I spent yesterday with my sweet Daughter!  We did lots of things, hanging pictures, curtains, folded some laundry, enjoyed a sandwich together... yep and did lots of giggling!  We have fun whatever we are doing!  Giggling does a body good, right?

It was a surprise party...

After the morning Church Service... off to my Cousin Debbie's 60th Surprise Birthday Party!  What a fun afternoon!  

She truly was surprised!  

Her Husband put together a really nice party!  This diner, normally closed on Sundays, was opened up and the food was awesome!

 My Sister Brenda and I stopped by the Hospital on our way to the party to check on Justin!  He had an episode at Church, his heart was racing!  They checked him out and told him to follow up with the cardiologist at the V.A!  Prayers appreciated!

I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with my Susta:)

One and two...

In just ONE short month, it will be Thanksgiving and in just TWO short months CHRISTMAS!  This year has gone by in lightning speed and I DON'T like it!  I just sent out our Thanksgiving invite and before you know it... it will be here!  I want time to slow down!  When I was a little kid, time would DRAG and I want that again!  

It is a gorgeous morning and I am getting ready to go to Church!  My weekends lately have been spent in a hotel but this morning I am waking up at home and enjoying it so much!  I hope your day will be filled with fun and family time!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Dr., Surprise visit, football...

I am always early to any appointment I have and it was nice to have a GOOD magazine to look thru!  Lots of good recipes and pretty decorations!  I am not currently subscribing to any but still enjoy looking at them:)

This is the baby board at my doctor's office!  I always enjoy looking at all the babies and finding my Grandchildren's pic!  I need to update it to include Avery:)  The Doctor delivered Autumn and I caught him up with what she was up to and all of her accomplishments!

It was gonna be a different weekend!  We have traveled to see this sweet girl play ball for a bunch of weekends recently!  There were no games this weekend and her Coach canceled Saturday practice, look who surprised me:)  YEP, she headed home to see the family and her pups!

Friday night lights!  OH MY GOODNESS, was it ever a great game!  Austin got to run with the ball and did an awesome job!

It was a nail biter right at the end and we pulled it out!  I enjoyed every minute of this game!  I didn't take many pictures because they are usually blurry anyway!

And I videoed ONE play and the people stood up in front of me!  Oh well...

It was the homecoming game for the team we were playing!  Lots of cars in the parade were Mercedes, BMWs etc...  Check out this beauty of a car:)  The older gentleman in the back smiled when I said "NICE CAR"!  It was gorgeous, I knew my Brother would like to see this one:)  
His is still prettier!

That's it for my Friday!  It was a busy one ALL day long and a late night!  It is a chilly start to this day, the heat is whirring and my coffee is hot!  I am planning on enjoying every single moment of this gorgeous FALL day!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

The Fall Angel...

I had a productive day yesterday but not blog worthy:)  Cleaning the pantry and sorting the Tupperware cabinet isn't too exciting unless you can see the before and after:)  It was a great day to stay inside and knock out some chores!

Got my last doctor appointment this afternoon and Austin Football tonight:)  For the first time in a bunch of weeks, we are home for the weekend!  Can't wait to hang out at home!

Blessed and Grateful...

This is how I feel this morning!  It is a chilly start to this day, I am snuggled up in my fleece robe, drinking my favorite hot cup of coffee and just feeling blessed and grateful!  I could list a ton of things, one of which is that I got my mammogram "ALL CLEAR" letter yesterday!  Thank you Dawn for this image!  I saved it for just the right day!

 

I spent yesterday afternoon with my Brother and Sister-in-law, sitting in my favorite spot at their house!  Thinking back just a month ago, he was just released from his 38 day hospital/rehab stay!  He can now move around, still not putting his weight on that foot but getting around pretty darn good with the help of his knee walker and scooter!  Kelly took him to the doctor yesterday, he has an appt today and another coming up!  BUT... I am thankful for his progress, his attitude and humor!  I just wanted to take a moment and just be thankful!  This is the picture that sits beside my chair!  It was taken at Marshall's Birthday dinner at Kelly's house in December 2013!  When I was leaving for the beach while he was still in rehab, I left him with this picture and said... 

"If you are missing me and feeling blue, 

just look at this picture of me and you"!  

Yep, I feel blessed and grateful!

Several things on my list today, mostly cleaning around my house, a little laundry and a trip to the grocery store!  I pray that you all are having a really blessed morning!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

No glaucoma, angel trumpets and sweet dreams...

We had a full morning yesterday at the eye doctor!  Both of us checked out with no glaucoma and my eyes were better than the last time, so no new contacts!  Marc got new glasses, new sunglasses and we are good for a while!  They polished my contacts and when I put them back in my eyes, they felt like fire:(  Irritated my eyes something fierce!  After a while they cooled down but needless to say, I won't be getting them polished again!

On to the beauty outside my porch:)  These angel trumpets give me so much joy!  Not just when they bloom, but I get excited from the very first bud!  Here are pictures starting with the little buds and the last one is this morning... ALL OPENED UP!  I was so excited to see this bloom, wrapped a blanket around my shoulders to run out in the chilly morning to take a picture to share with you:)  AND they have the sweetest scent!

AND... I dreamed about my Mama last night!  IT was so real that I woke up wanting to go back to sleep and dream some more!  It is nice to visit with her in my dreams:)  Love my Mama!

It's a boy and time for eye exam...

My Sister Cindy and her Family made the trip this past weekend to find out if their Grandbaby is a boy or girl!  Tiffany had a friend get the results and put the color of paint in bottles!  They were blind folded and squirted the paint at each other:)  IT'S a boy!  Can't wait to see this little cutie pie in April!

This isn't the eye chart I will see this morning but I like what it says!  "Always look on the bright side of life"  Time for my eye exam!  Another thing checked off my list!

There wasn't much going on around my house yesterday!  A bit of rest from the busy weekend, laundry, some cleaning and watching DWTS last night!  Now tonight is the 1st game of the World Series!  I'll be watching, how about you?  Well, gotta get my coffee down and get to my Eye appt.!

Football, Softball and running...

What a weekend!  We have had a wonderfully busy weekend starting Friday night for Austin's Football game!  We always get there early to get good seats!  I would say, we had our pick:)

The Parents line up to welcome the players onto the field!  I stood with Tracy and tried to get a picture of Austin:)  That's him, I guess he was running too fast:)

They played a great game!  I took several videos but it is just too far away to be able to see much!

Up REALLY early Saturday morning, made the trip to Jacksonville Florida to watch Autumn play!  She really made it worth the trip!  A single, a double, two home runs and EIGHT RBIs!

I know they all had a great time!  It has been a really busy but fun weekend!  We are back home!  We stopped for the night in Tifton!  Had dinner and a good rest.  I enjoyed the decor at the Hotel!  It was decorated with pumpkins and scarecrows!  Of course I had to take a few pictures:)

The leaves are falling...

Feeling like Fall and smelling like pumpkin spice:)  The leaves are falling and so is the temperature!  Austin has a football game tonight and I best be locating something warm to wear!  I have my mammogram this morning and need to do a little shopping!

We watched the Giants and Cardinals last night, great game!  The World Series is set and should be a great one!  Not much going on around here!  We are still cleaning out and shredding ancient pay stubs etc.  Funny how the SS # used to be how we were identified!  Now with so many stolen identities... gotta be extra careful to get rid of that on anything discarded!

Checking things off...

My Wednesday was spent checking things off my list of things I didn't want to do but did anyway:)  Yes... I started out with a long list of things I had been putting off and decided that they were getting checked off and I am happy that I did!

I was surprised when I went to pay my property taxes and vote, you have to be screened before entering and they search your purse!  WOW, I asked when they started doing that and was told that when the law passed that you could carry a gun in most places EXCEPT Government buildings!  I had no idea or I would have left my purse in the car:)  Anyway, I paid my taxes, voted, got my insurance enrollment done and went to the grocery store!  I made my mammogram appointment and my yearly "lady" check-up appointment!  HUGE checks on that list of things I needed to do but didn't want to do!

It is a little chilly here this morning, feeling like FALL to me!  Hope you are enjoying your hot cup of coffee like I am:)  Have a blessed and beautiful day dear friends, HUGS!

Not whining and rain...

Oh I could whine a little bit when I saw something sticking out of one of my "kinda new" tires... BUT... I am just thankful it didn't blow out on the interstate while traveling back from Savannah!  The tire couldn't be fixed, so I had to have a new one!  Looking on the bright side, it could have caused us to wreck!  We are ready to roll again:)

It rained SO hard Tuesday morning, I knew it was a lot but had no idea it was 4+ inches!  That's a LOT of rain at one time!  Everything is looking a little beat down from the rain but some sunshine today will have all of the plants 
reaching for the sky:)  

After the tire was replaced, I went for a visit with my Brother and Sister-in-law:)  We had a nice visit and back home for some hum-drum chores!  Still have to register for my insurance before Friday and need to pay property taxes, vote and do some banking!  Today I am gonna mark some of those things off my list!

Couldn't have been better...

Our 29th Wedding Anniversary was one special day!  It started out with cards by the coffee maker:)

Tracy made homemade banana bread and surprised us with our very own loaf:)

And Autumn really put on a show for us!  She hit 3 singles, a double and a home run, FOUR RBIs!  Yes, she had a great day!

We went to dinner where there were MORE TVs than I have ever seen in one place!  We love watching sports and they were ALL on!

Our crew!  The picture is a bit blurry but I am posting it anyway!  Autumn's Fella is beside me on the right!  We love having him with us!  Autumn was very happy to see her Family for the weekend!
