Perhaps today...

Goals... anybody else dragging their feet about getting the decorations out?  Ours are stored in the attic and it is a lot of work to bring them down!  Perhaps today?  I keep saying that and the day comes and goes without a tree!  It is supposed to rain later today, sounds like good weather to work in the attic!

Please join me in prayer for the victims of the fires and tornadoes!  There are So many hurting!  Makes me sad:(

Start each day...

SO much to thank HIM for!  I am thankful that my Nephew Justin's wife Kimberly wasn't hurt yesterday when her Bank was robbed!  She was the one that the robber went to with a gun!  I am thankful beyond words that she wasn't injured!  She was shaken up but back at her station today!  Thank you Lord for protecting Kimberly!

I just returned home from my annual physical!  ALL looks good, blood work results yet to come!  I am thankful to have that behind me for yet another year!  I am thankful for the rain which we desperately need!  I pray that the fires will be extinguished and everyone can return home!  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

SO perhaps this afternoon... the tree will go up?  PERHAPS:)  I watched lots of good football yesterday while wrapping some Christmas gifts!  My Husband went to Ga Tech and MOST of our family pulls for Georgia!  To say he was happy after this win is an understatement!  Still I felt bad for all of the Georgia fans:(

Surprise visit...

After a full week of not feeling like getting off the sofa, I spent my Black Friday catching up on chores!  Laundry, dusting, sweeping etc.  I was behind and it felt good to check each thing off my list!  I sat down late in the day to watch some football when... THESE FOUR surprised me with a visit:)  Autumn, her friend Rylee and Rylee's two sisters!  OH how a little visit, some sweet hugs and chats made my heart happy:)

It's time to start talking about getting the Christmas tubs from the attic:)  I will talk about it for a while before actually pulling the stairs down, but at least I am thinking about it!  Enjoy your day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Our Family Thanksgiving...

Our Family Thanksgiving!  So many were there and about this many weren't there!  We had a great time together! (Thank you Kelly for taking the picture)

My Mama would have been SO proud of her Family and all of the good food cooked and shared!  We had WAY too much food but "it's better to have too much than not enough", Mama always said that:)

Tracy and her family had a busy day but made me smile to join us for dinner!  Sweet family!

Thanksgiving is upon us...

As Thanksgiving is upon us... I want to say how thankful I am and looking forward to spending time with my wonderful Family!  I have grocery shopping to do and recipes to make preparing for Thursday!  I hope all of you have a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving week...

It's Thanksgiving week and I am looking forward to Thursday!  I certainly have SO much to be thankful for, not just on Thanksgiving 

but every day!

Marc had a great birthday, I cooked him dinner and he got lots of calls wishing him a Happy Birthday!  I am feeling better every day, thankfully!  Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving week!  I still have to pull some recipes and do some grocery shopping!

On this day...

My Daddy on the left and my Hubby on the right!  Today is Marc's 69th Birthday!  In 2006 on this very day, My Daddy passed away!  I will celebrate Marc's birthday with sweet memories of my Daddy!

We will have to postpone a birthday celebration because I am still not feeling good:(

Just a quick post...

Quick post!  Austin's team went to the second round of the playoffs yesterday!  I went to see him leave with police and firetruck escorts:)  They lost last night, boo hoo, so Football Season is officially over except for the banquet!  This grandson of mine is so handsome and kind!  He stopped as he walked to the bus, turned to look at me and blew me a kiss!  My goodness, I am so proud of him!

Somebody else I am proud of... MY HUSBAND!  He just completed a 5K this morning and since 2011 has run the  equivalent of the circumference of the Earth!  I made him a shirt to wear this morning to show his accomplishment:)  He called to say they gave him a t-shirt and after the 5K, he was headed off to run some more!  He will be going to Avery's basketball game and I will keep my position on the sofa!  I am still under the weather:(

Once a year...

Well, this kinda looks like me!  Once a year, like Christmas and Thanksgiving... I get a sinus infection!  I am thankful that I feel good MOST of the time and sad when I don't!  I have too many things that need doing and feeling bad doesn't fit in!  Anyway... I am on the mend and hopefully today will feel much better!

This girl has her first basketball game tomorrow and I can't wait to cheer her on!  She is getting WAY too tall and very excited about playing!

I will miss the playoff football game tonight, it is an away game and I don't feel up to sitting outside in the evening air:(  I spent yesterday on the sofa with my box of tissues and spent the night coughing!  I pray that today will be the last day of this junk!  Prayers appreciated:)

Celebrating Cindy's B'day...

We celebrated my Baby Sister Cindy's 47th Birthday yesterday!  It was a great time together!  Good food, smiles and gifts:)

A special day...

This little baby changed our family, my baby Sister Cindy came on the scene November 16th, 1969!  My Parents were the happiest two people on this Earth!  Cindy was a blessing from Heaven and took care of our Parents when she got old enough!

I picked a collection of pictures, this was 2012 Birthday...

2014, she was expecting her first Grandchild...

2015 we had her birthday lunch at my house and made crafts:)  That was a really fun day!

Cindy's Family is growing:)  Oh how I love them ALL!

And then there is today!  This picture of Cindy, on the left was last year on her birthday and on the right is Cindy now (MANY pounds lighter)!  Can you believe that in ONE year... Cindy has changed her life, one pound at a time!  I am SO proud of you SIS!  Eat a piece of cake today:)

Leaves everywhere...

Running late getting my blog up this morning!  Just enjoying my coffee and making a list and checking it twice:)  Anybody else covered up in leaves?  Our yard, pool, driveway, walkway etc.  COVERED.  My Husband keeps the blower humming and they just fall again!  Anyway, the leaves are causing problems in our North Ga mountains fueling the fires!  I pray that we get some rain to help put the fires out!

I am thinking forward to Thanksgiving, pulling my favorite recipes and making a shopping list!  I want to enjoy every single morsel of food on that day!  We always have the best food!  We have SO much to be thankful for today and every day!

My Sunday and today...

Because this is my daily journal, I will talk about my Sunday:)  After my busy Saturday with the Wedding, Sunday morning a hot cup of coffee got me going!  My Church time was great even though there were NO family members there!  Cindy's family went to a different Church to hear Jeff Preach, Kelly was recovering from the Wedding and Brenda was probably resting to get ready for work.  That being said, the singing and Preaching was right what I needed to fill my tank for the week ahead!  Psalms 61:2...

So... it is now Monday, November 14... SAY WHAT?  Yes, one week from this Thursday is THANKSGIVING!  Where in the world has this year gone:(  Today, I am going to go thru my Christmas list and get some plans made!  I also need to work in my closet, not a pleasant thing but much needed!  Have a blessed day dear friends of mine, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Oh what a night...

Busy days...

I hit the ground running yesterday and didn't stop until my head hit the pillow!  My heart was full the entire day and SO many proud moments to share:)  Veteran's Day program was at 9:00.  As I walked up to go inside, I saw my Grandson Austin walking up with his girl Lexi and seeing him walk up to me to give me a hug... tears shot from my eyes!  He is being a trooper but I know it isn't easy to do all he has to do on crutches!  Inside the building, my Daughter had me a seat saved... love spending the day with my TRACY!  We enjoyed the program and a little shopping afterwards:)
