Tomorrow is the first blank page...

The last day of 2016, New Year's Eve... I don't do well with New Year's Resolutions, SO I am going to do what this quote says!  I want to spend more time with Family and savor every single moment of the New Year!  Marc and I have stayed in on New Year's Eve for many years!  TOO many tipsy folks on the road and it is just comfortable at home!  How are you spending your evening?

Warm and delicious...

It was a chilly evening and this is what I wanted:)  My Husband LOVES french onion soup and so do I!  We had baked potatoes, slathered with butter and shredded cheese which was tasty with the soup!  Finally feeling a bit like Winter here!

My morning is getting a slow start, I couldn't even remember what day it was:)  Coffee is hot, the Christmas tree lights are glowing and I am warm and cozy with not a single plan for this day!  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Breakfast with the FAM...

We met for breakfast, some of my family members including my Aunt Mattie Lou (FooFoo)!  I ate a delicious plate full of yumminess, every bite:)  We chatted and my Aunt opened her gifts:)

Austin is still healing and not playing basketball, but we went to watch his team!  After the game, we got some hugs and he told us that he can take the boot off!  One more step closer to complete healing!

Last year we met for lunch to celebrate Christmas with my Aunt, My Mama's baby Sister:)  We are meeting for Breakfast this morning and I am looking forward to seeing some of my favorite people!

I was one LAZY LADY...

I was SO LAZY yesterday, seriously LAZY!  At the end of the day, I couldn't list but a couple things that were accomplished!  Perhaps I was tired and just needed to re-fuel, perhaps it was this OH SO WARM throw that My Brother Leon and Sister-in-law Becky game me:)  I sat in my favorite chair, wrapped up in this throw and watched football, we had leftovers AGAIN and I went to bed!  

Now I am up, having my coffee and making a list to get done today!  I hope all of you are more energetic than me:)  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

It was a great Christmas! I can't count the times Autumn hugged me, kissed me and squeezed me SO tight!  It was great to have her home from College for Christmas!

After our busy Christmas morning, I landed at home, cleaned up lots of clutter and sat in my favorite chair for HOURS!  It felt SO good!  We had leftovers for dinner and enjoyed some football!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to a wonderful New Year!  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

When your Grandson turns 18...

When your Grandson turns 18, you start a slow walk down memory lane!  It is Austin's 18th birthday and the years have flown right by!

I remember waiting on Austin to be born, hoping he wasn't born on Christmas day, he arrived on the 23rd!  What a sweet little guy he WAS and STILL is... just WAY taller!

I have watched him chase birds in Savannah...

And heard him roar like a dinosaur...

Was there on his first day of school and Lord willing, I will be there to watch him Graduate in May of 2017...

4 days and a cute cup...

4 days 'til Christmas  I am starting my day drinking my coffee one the cute cups that my Niece Crystal gave me:)  I love it and from that smile, it loves me!  Busy doing things, gotta grocery shop and make sure all my ducks are in a row:)
