It's great to be home...

Back in my comfy chair this morning after a busy weekend of travel.  We had a wonderful visit with our Grandchildren, their Parents and Marc's Sister Karen.  Great time together, lots of hugs, gifts that made them smile and plans for the next time:)  Time flies by and these kids aren't so little anymore.  It's sad when you miss so much of their lives because of the distance, but we see them as much as we can.

It is New Year's Eve and tomorrow is a brand new year.  I pray you are all having a warm and cozy morning!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way on this last day of 2018.

Yesterday and today...

Brooklyn is waking up this morning in her own home.  I dashed out yesterday morning to get some snuggles and hugs before they headed home.  BOOHOO that they are not an hour away from me as they have been for a couple of weeks.  I stopped by on the way home for a visit with my Great-Nephew Waylon.  He opened his gifts and loved everything:)  Avery was enjoying a little sunshine on her new exercise trampoline.  Such a sweet child and I love her SO much, Alex was still sleeping and I didn't get to see her.  Bottom right picture is a sweet prayer locket from my daughter!  I love it Tracy and thank you SO much for this thoughtful gift!

It is the last Friday in 2018 and I have gifts to deliver and hugs to collect!  I'll be back soon with more pics of sweet faces!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

LOTS accomplished...

I am up and at 'em, feeling good about getting LOTS accomplished yesterday.  Wrapping all done for the next gathering and my dining room is free of clutter.  The Christmas paper/bows ready to be packed away and I have to say I am ready to NOT see it for a while:)

I am looking forward to seeing Madison, Maybree and Maverick and watching their faces light up when they open their gifts.  Grandkids make my heart happy.  It's kinda sad when Christmas over :(  The New Year is just around the corner and will bring NEW things, hopefully good things:)  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Nice to take a little break...

Catching up... Austin's Birthday.  #20 with his girlfriend Lexi.  I think it is hard when your birthday is so close to Christmas but we always celebrate with dinner and gifts.

Gifts from Ganky and Pa.  Austin doesn't like being the center of attention, but on this day... it IS his day:)  Happy Birthday to Austin.

Christmas Eve with lots of family!  Thank you to Kelly for getting this picture for me.  She has a great camera and made sure we all got in.  A few people were hiding in the back, but I know they are there:)  Once again, we were all together... for that I am thankful.

Autumn, Seth and Brooklyn gifted us this canvas!  We love it and it is already hanging on our wall!

Tracy and family gave us this picture "Life is better when we're together"  SO TRUE!  Thank you and I love it!

Not many were ready to get pictures made on Christmas morning but Brooklyn was:)

This little girl has already brought us so much joy!  Merry Christmas Brooklyn, we love you!

Last picture, the calm before the storm.  The packages were ready to be loaded and distributed.  We are blessed beyond measure with family and friends.  I am thankful for all we have and those we love!  Looking toward to 2019!

NOW, I still have gifts to wrap before visiting with my out-of-town grandchildren.  I am sitting here with my coffee and making a list of things I MUST accomplish.  I pray that each of you had a very Merry Christmas filled with love and good health!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

How could he be 20...

Hi there, today is my Grandson Austin's 20th Birthday!  Happy Birthday Austin!  Pa and I love this young man SO much!  He is humble and kind, always gives me a HUG and came to visit recently WHICH MEANT THE WORLD TO US!

The years fly by, don't they?  Look at these little ones and their new puppy Munson:)

Riding in the little Barbie car with BB in front (BB is in Dog Heaven now)

Carrying his Sister to the car after a wedding:)  I start looking thru old pictures and just can't stop.

One of my favorite Christmas pictures of these four Grandkids:)

I could squeeze him to pieces.  Posing for his school picture:)

Yes on this day in 1998 we were blessed with a PRECIOUS Christmas gift, Austin!  He has given us SO much joy and I can't wait to get one of his sweet hugs when I deliver his birthday gifts!  We love you Austin, always stay humble and kind!

I have been missing from the blog world for a few days.  I am trying to finish and stay focused on what's left to do.  I started shopping SO early, got that all done and have spent the last few days wrapping, grocery shopping and even got my hair done.  I will be in and out until after the first of the year.  Merry Christmas to all of you sweet friends!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

If I live to be a hundred...

If I live to be a hundred, I hope this day remains a memory.  Brooklyn was the cutest little girl sitting on Santa's lap.  She loves her Mommy and Autumn can get her to smile so sweet.

Santa was reading her a book and she was listening, wink:)

The Parent's and their baby girl:)  Pretty Mommy and handsome Daddy with Brooklyn!

I enjoyed the time with my Great-Granddaughter Brooklyn SO much, lunch with the family... it was a great day.  If I live to be a hundred, I hope I remember this day...

Have a blessed day and days ahead.  I am gonna take a little break to finish things up.  I'll be back when I can!  Merry Christmas with lots of HUGS and PRAYERS!

I would rather be there again today...

I was with this little cutie ALL DAY yesterday and enjoyed every single second of it:)  Brooklyn has grown SO much since I saw her a month ago.  She is doing lots of cute things, makes sweet sounds and smiles a lot.  She is teething and enjoyed the little teether thingy that I gave her.  She looked mighty cute in her little lacy socks.  Bottom right, Frankie guarding his little friend:)

I would rather be with them again today but have things to do around the house.  I got up at 5:30 and started wrapping presents and YES... I am still at it.  Just popping in to say HI and I will catch up with all of you when I get a little break.  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Wonderful night...

It WAS just as wonderful as I knew it would be.  My Brother Marshall's b'day dinner at my Niece Kelly's house.  The house was full of loved ones, lots of good food and beautiful decorations!  I would love to bottle up a night like this and pop it open over and over.

SO many pretties scattered throughout Kelly and Jeff's home.  I love the warmth and love how I feel when I am there.  Thank you for another wonderful night of great food and fellowship!

Have a blessed day dear friends, if you miss me this week... Autumn and family are in town.  YIKES I can't wait to see them!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Wish comes true...

This was a post from a year ago, at the bottom of this post... My brother made a wish.  Today that wish comes true:)  It is my Brother's 75th b'day dinner at my Niece Kelly's house.  If I weren't already in the Christmas spirit, a visit to her house would do the trick.  Thank you Kelly for hosting this party every year, it is truly one of my favorite times of the year!

LAST YEAR...  My Brother Marshall's 74th Birthday party was AWESOME!  His Daughters put on a feast and the house was packed with family!  I SO enjoyed visiting with everyone!  What a great picture of Marshall and June, I am thankful that they are happy and healthy this Christmas!  Kelly's grandson Grant is a JOY to be around!

My Niece Kelly should host a decorating show!  Every inch of her home is decorated with the sweetest decorations with lots of memories of years past!  AND she's cute too:)

SIX brothers and sisters together again!  I am thankful for them!  We had birthday cake, carrot cake... YUM!  Crystal, Kelly and Suzanne SISTERS and BFFs!  I love them all and appreciate their dedication to keeping this family tradition alive!  I got my picture made with Marshall as I have for as long as I can remember:)  I love him and he loves me!

After we sang Happy Birthday and Marshall blew out his candles, he said that he made a wish  "I wished that we could do this again next year"!
I second that and pray for a great year ahead for ALL!

Have a blessed day dear friends!

Jingle Ball with the girls=FUN......

My sweet Daughter bought tickets to this event and asked if I wanted to go:)  Well of course!  It was an awesome experience, memories made and lots of fun with Tracy, Alex and Avery.  We have been to several concerts together and I look forward to the next one:)

It rained on us getting to the arena but we dried out and were ready for the show:)

Who knew I would enjoy such entertainers as Marshmello?  It was one of my faves of the night.  There were lots of fireworks, confetti and booming sounds.

Who is my VERY MOST favorite of the night, Shawn Mendes.  Great talent in this 19 year old.  We will attend a concert in 2019, I am told:)

These two girls had a great time, standing and singing throughout the concert.  Memories, I cherish these times.

Tracy does so much for her girls and her Mama:)

Thank you Tracy for a very enjoyable night!

SO... it was midnight when I got home.  AND I slept til 7:30 which is late for me.  Not much that I have to do this morning... so not much is what I am doing!

Have a beautiful day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Nieces in NY and a new GREAT-Niece...

Three of my nieces are in New York, they go every year during Christmas.  Yesterday they were on Live with Kelly and Ryan.  This girl right here, my niece Suzanne... the daily dancer:)  She did an awesome job and we all watched!

Nieces Crystal on the left and Kelly on the right by Kelly Ripa having the time of their lives.

On to other news...  I am happy to announce that I will be getting a NEW Great-Niece.  My Nephew Justin and his wife Kimberly are expecting a little girl in May of 2019.  Waylon spilled the beans in this cute picture!  He looks happy to be a big brother:)

I gotta run.  My bone-density test is today FINALLY, and it's time to decorate my Parent's cemetery for Christmas.  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Much of the same but with coffee...

I missed you all yesterday!  It was the dreaded day for our annual physical.  I whined about it but off I went with my little thermos of coffee.  Blood drawn first thing so I could have my coffee.  The nurse said she doesn't drink coffee, I can't imagine:)  Anyway, back home for an afternoon of gift wrapping.  I am getting a lot done but much more to do.

Today, much of the same except I am sitting in my jammies with a precious cup of coffee:)  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

My view and a big win...

This was my view last night.  A warm fire, glowing lights and Santa.  The weather was yucky.  It rained ALL day, ALL night and is raining this morning.  Lots of folks are getting snow and ice, so I guess the rain isn't so bad:)

We don't watch Soccer, we don't know the rules etc., but we watched last night and our team won.  The win was VERY exciting for our City!  (AJC photo creds)

It's coming up on two weeks before Christmas, are you ready?  I am planning on spending the afternoon watching football and wrapping gifts.  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

HOHOHO...

This guy jumped in my cart at Walmart:)  HOHOHO...

Now I am busy enjoying what's inside Santa's tin!  Guess which one is my fave!

It's ok to treat yourself after a morning of shopping, RIGHT?  I think so too:)  It is a rainy, yucky day here and I am thankful that I am inside for the rest of the day!  Staying safe and warm!  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
