In the early morning hours of September 28th, my Sister Brenda passed away. She was 70 years young. So many of you have followed along, and faithfully prayed as she was in and out of the hospital especially over the last year and a half. Her heart, liver and kidneys couldn't make it another day and she went to be with Jesus. I have always loved when we were all together, 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters. This picture was at my Aunt's funeral in 2017. It has never been ok with me to take a sibling picture when we weren't all there. There have always been SIX of us and now there are FIVE. I won't get used to that and it is going to be so sad without our Sister Brenda. My heart is broken and our family will miss her SO much. Brenda and I went to the doctor a lot over the years and we spent lots of treasured time together when she was in rehab. I am so thankful for EVERY moment, EVERY conversation and our daily text messages. We love you Brenda and our family will never be the same without you!

Slow to bloom...
My hydrangeas have been slow to bloom this year. We cut them way back and I think they didn't like that:) BUT, they are blooming now.

My Sister Brenda and me...
In our family... when someone is in the hospital, we visit! With the lock down because of the virus, you just can't go to see your loved ones:( I got to talk to my sister Brenda yesterday and it was very nice to hear her voice.
"Brenda, I pray that each day is better than the day before and you can get back home. Love you and praying for you"!

Happy Last Day of Summer...
I have blogger's block so I will just say "Happy Last Day of Summer" and enjoy your day. Not much happening around here just checking off another day on the calendar. I am thankful that we are healthy with food on the table and a roof over our heads! We have stayed home for much of this year and as Pooh says, "HOME IS THE COMFIEST PLACE TO BE". That's true, Pooh, that's true! It is going to be another glorious day of FALLISH weather. I might head to the park for a walk in a little while or clean a closet, decisions/decisions:)
Enjoy your day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

It's starting to look like Fall...
Yes, it is starting to look like Fall. This is the last weekend of Summer. There are leaves beginning to fall and the temps are dropping a little every day. I don't really care for COLD weather but Autumn is a breath of fresh air to me after all we have been thru in 2020.
