Prom and little smiles...

Our beautiful Granddaughter Alexandra ready for her 2022 Prom.  This girl has the sweetest heart.

Since I last posted, I have been busy but I will save that for another day.  Timmy and Alex ready for the dance.

Loved this one and their smiles...

Tracy,  Alex and Timmy...

And with me:)

Tracy and I grabbing a selfie before heading in different directions...

Brooklyn and Jameson came for the day yesterday.  Oh we had fun!  The conversations we have are precious and I thought about them when I was trying to go to sleep last night.  They had the best time with a box of note cards, envelopes and pens.

We played outside, rode the toys and took a train ride (in the wagon).  Thanks to Autumn for snapping this picture!

It was a good week.  Tracy and Alex are off to visit a College today and I am going to do some shopping this morning with loved ones.  Enjoy your day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Easter Sunday 2022...

Easter Sunday 2022  Bags of goodies lined up and ready to distribute to my people.

Lunch was delicious, Honey baked ham and fixins, yummy strawberry shortcake and let's head outside for some egg-hunting.

Brooklyn found the last egg, it was in Pa's pocket.

Brooklyn and Jameson were just so cute in their matching outfits

The babies got the cutest blow-bubble machines from Nana and Pops:)

Having fun...

Jameson finding the prize egg...

Brooklyn was having the best time running around finding lots of eggs.

My GREAT-Grandbabies and Ganky...

Add Pa in for a picture:)

I didn't get a family photo of everyone together but got a lot of pictures just the same.  Tracy and I always take a picture of us whenever we are together.  Avery popped in to add her cute self with her Mom and me:)

Today is my Niece Sonia's birthday!  Happy Birthday Sonia!  I love you and miss seeing your sweet face!  I hope you have a beautifully blessed birthday!  Sonia's senior picture, gorgeous red hair!  Hmmm, that's been a long time ago but she is still so pretty with that red hair like her Mama.

Sonia as a little girl.  This is and always has been one of my favorite pictures!

Anybody else tired this morning?  I feel my age after these busy days!  It is going to be bright sunshiny week ahead and I plan on being outside a lot.  I hope you all have a blessed day!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Happy Friday on Good Friday...

Happy Friday on Good Friday.  Here is a picture of my snowball bush blooms.  My sister Barbara gave it to me many years ago and I know she is smiling to see it from Heaven.

She also gave me these and I look forward to seeing them bloom every year.

We loaded our Easter bags for the grandchildren who live out of state and off we go.

My Step-daughter showed off her Christmas gift from us:)

The reason for our trip was Grandparent's Day at Madison's school.

One of her classes makes 3-D items including these robotic hands.

Here we are:)  Madison chose this pretty tree for our picture.  We enjoyed visiting her school and hearing all that she is learning.  What a smart Granddaughter we have!

What we missed while out of town!  Brooklyn's Easter pageant and egg hunt!  We just can't be everywhere although I sure try:)

They had lots of fun and shared pictures!

Jameson got in on the fun too!  The teachers are always so nice to include him.  He loves some "nacks"!

We also missed Alex and Avery's region track meet.  Thank you Tracy for the pictures!

Now, I have tried to post this twice:(  Hopefully it works this time.  Enjoy your day dear friends, Happy Easter weekend.  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Just checking in...

There isn't much happening around here but I decided to post anyway:)  I visited the Great-Grands to babysit one day this week, grocery shopped, cooked every day... you know just a normal week and for that I will be thankful!  I did a little yard work.  When I pulled the rake from the garage, this is the one I picked.  It was just my size:)  HAHAHA

I filled my hummingbird feeders and they came right away:)

Atlanta Braves Baseball is back and of course we will watch every day!  The Masters is on for a few days and of course we watch that:)

It is chilly here this morning and my cup of coffee is tasty!

I hope you all are happy and healthy!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

It is almost Easter...

It's is almost Easter, I can't believe it.  My Dogwoods are blooming and are gorgeous as always!

Autumn and the babies came for a visit this week, Brooklyn and Jameson love riding the old toys.  I am so happy that I kept them.  Being outside in the pollen was yuck but their visit made my day!

We had a track meet on Thursday and loved watching the girls run in various races.  We stand along the fence and cheer them on, whatever they are doing.

We are steady cleaning around here.  You sure can collect a lot of stuff in 20 years.  We moved here 20 years ago and brought a lot of stuff from the previous house that we didn't need and lots of stuff we did:).  As we unpack boxes, treasures are found.  My oldest Sister Barbara who left us for her Heavenly home on 2/25/2021 made sure we all had these little dishes.  Mama used to put chocolate pudding in them when we were growing up.  I found mine safely packed away, now unpacked... carefully washed to be enjoyed and passed down.  Barbara still gives me joy in things she gave me and notes she wrote.  Just reminiscing as usual to keep memories alive.

School is almost done for the year, how can that be?  Alex will be a Senior next school year and Avery a Junior.  I will need to start working on Alex's scrapbook, they all get one when they graduate.  It takes me back thru the years watching them grow up.  It is always a journey that I enjoy and yet makes me sad too.  Anyway gotta get to working on that.  I hope you all are having a super Sunday morning.  It is chilly here but warming up nicely later today.  I have weeds to pull and outside chores around the pool to work on.  Not much time to sit and type, yet here I sit.

Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
