Grad party, road trip and blooms...

I am loving the blooms that are popping up around my yard.  This hibiscus lived in my bathtub over the winter:)  She is loaded with buds and the blooms are bringing joy to my heart.

The day lilies are showing themselves too.  The little statue in the back was given to me from my Sister Barbara:)  She is in Heaven but is all around me here on earth.

Saturday was a BUSY day, it started with Graduation party for my GREAT-GREAT Niece Madison.  I couldn't stay for the party but got to visit for a few minutes and deliver my gift.

4 hour Road trip to see our Granddaughter Madison's ballet recital.  There were SO many great dances and Madison was in 5.  I don't know how they remember all of those dances and steps, changing their costumes... it was amazing.  Madison did great!  She is on the far left.

We stopped for a Grandparent/Grandchildren picture after the show.  These kids are growing up and even Maverick is taller than me now:)

It's gonna be a busy week so I thought I better do a Monday morning post!  Jameson's birthday party is this Saturday and another graduation party on Sunday for my GREAT-Nephew Eli Marshall!  Have a blessed day and week ahead dear friends, it's a rainy morning here but my flowers are loving the fresh drink of water from sky!  HUGS!

A busy day and a good one...

I was out running some errands and actually just killing time when Autumn called and said "Want swimmers Ganky"?  Well yes I do and I headed home. Autumn and the little ones came for a swim in the NOT SO warm water:)  Brooklyn and Jameson enjoyed a break from swimming for some watermelon!  THEIR VISIT MADE MY dull day exciting!

I had new puddle-jumpers for both of the babies and an old hat which worked fine for Jameson's head to not get burned.

Brooklyn loved the mid-day swim and Autumn tolerated the cold water.

We attended the awards ceremony last night and Alex racked up a full stack, FIVE awards.

Her boyfriend Timmy got some too.

Tracy, Derek and their smart girl.  One of her awards was ALL A's, we are all SO PROUD of Alex!

Ganky, Pa and Alex...

3 Generations, I love that we take these pictures together.
SO, it's supposed to be a nice day and I have plenty to keep me busy!  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way.

My birthday week, broken tooth and flowers...

Let's start out by saying "My week didn't start too good".  I broke a tooth and had to hustle to the dentist to see what to do about it.  I need a crown and will be going on Monday pulling a wagon full of money, but my tooth will be fixed:)  I love my blooms, this yellow rose is so pretty.  It was a gift from my Sister Brenda YEARS ago.  I watched it bud and took pictures until it completely opened.  Love this color:)

We had lunch on Monday for my Birthday.  Tracy, Autumn, Austin and the Great-Grands.  We did some shopping after lunch.  Brooklyn LOVES to shop:)

My Grandson Austin and me after lunch:)

Little Brooklyn, my lunch buddy...

Jameson and his favorite person, Uncle Austin...

Tracy and family gifted me this gorgeous Mandevilla🌸🌺

My birthday gifts keep coming.  My Niece Kelly dropped this gift off for me.

It was a solar wind chime!  I love it and hung it as soon as I opened it:)

It's hard to see but it lights up at night!

Yesterday My Sister Cindy and Sister-in-law June met me for lunch at my favorite Chinese restaurant.  June gave me gifts and a card.  The rose has a story... Years ago, like 25 plus years ago, my Brother Marshall transplanted a rosebush from our previous house.  He named it the Roach Rose.  June handed me this precious bouquet and it took my breath away.  If you read my recent blog about my dream that Marshall brought me 3 things on my b'day, one of the things my Brother gave me in my dream was a cutting from the rose bush, I didn't tell anyone but June guessed that the rose was one of the 3 things, she was right.  I love my gifts.  The roses, earrings and a bracelet.  Thank you June, I love you!

It's been a really busy week, Dentist, package mailed for my Granddaughter's birthday, Track meet picnic and lunch twice for my birthday.  I think I need to kick back a little this weekend and enjoy the sunshine and blue skies.

It seems my blog posts are few and far between.  I used to blog every day whether there was anything to blog about or not.  These days, I just blog to catch up and that makes them a little longer.  BUT... I still blog and I still read other blogs and comment.  It's nice to just stay in touch.  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Whew, Days full of love...

A Mother's Day to remember!  We had a delicious lunch with My Daughter Tracy, the entire family and My Son-in-law Derek's parents at the clubhouse.  It was a feel-good kinda day ALL day!  We ate, we laughed, we hugged, we gathered outside for a photo-shoot!

Ganky, Pa and the 4 grandchildren...

These little smiles come with extra hugs:)

My precious Daughter always makes sure my Mother's Day/Birthday is special!

Tracy and her FOUR Children...

Niece Britani gave me this cute picture from their gender reveal with Britani, Evan, my great-grands Brooklyn and Jameson:)

My Sister Cindy made this yummy pound cake, my fave and gave me a beautiful gown for comfy sleeping:)

Tracy and family gave me a gazing ball...

this gorgeous planter full of pretties...

this hello Spring sign which has another saying on the back...

SO many pretty flowers from Autumn and family and a new coffee cup.  Tracy and family gave a bag full of new kitchen towels and other kitchen goodies:)

Marc gave me SO many pretty/funny cards and a bouquet of yellow beauties...

Today is my 68th birthday!  I can't believe how quickly the years fly by.  I dream A LOT and last night I dreamed that my Brother Marshall drove up (like he used to do) in his pretty red and white '55 Chevrolet.  He drove up, blew the horn (like he used to do) and had 3 little gifts for me, I can only remember two but having him visit in my dream was the best gift of all.  I will miss my calls from Marshall, Barbara and Brenda but have a heart full of memories from all of our years together.

I will spend the day with my Daughter Tracy, Granddaughter Autumn and Great-grands Brooklyn and Jameson.  It is going to be a great day, I feel it...

Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Happy Mother's Day...

Happy Mother's Day to all of you and to my Precious Mama in Heaven!  She was the best ever and left us way too soon at the age of 63!  Funny how time helps but never closes that gap in the heart.  Enjoy your day ladies and if your Mama is still with you, hug her tight!

I visited the cemetery yesterday, took a card and picture from all of us.

My Sister Cindy and Niece Britani came for a visit yesterday, brought gifts, a homemade pound cake and HUGS!  It was nice to sit and chat with them!

I will spend Mother's Day with my Daughter and her family for a delicious brunch at their Clubhouse.  It will be nice to be with them and my Son-in-law's parents too.  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

May 1st, slow down 2022...

Good Sunday morning!  I hope you all are enjoying the start of a new day and a new month!  WOW, it's MAY  1st!  How did that happen?  The year is flying right on by.  This picture is some pretty little purple blooms in my backyard that I have no idea where they came from:)

My week has been busy, I shopped with family (Niece Suzanne, SIL June and Sister Cindy) on Monday, we chatted and giggled a lot and had a great lunch...

I got my hair done (much needed) and Thursday my Granddaughter Avery had to have her appendix removed.  Thankfully all went well and she is comfy and cozy in her home with her Mama taking extra special care of her.  I was out there to visit Avery when the doorbell rang, her boyfriend Wilson sent her this beautiful and yummy edible fruit.  What a sweet fella!

I worked in the yard some, our little mater plants are looking good and some have blooms:)

I sat out by the pool for a little while yesterday afternoon too.  The sun felt good:)

It's a very busy time of the year with Mother's Day, graduations, birthdays, dance recitals etc. which all sounds like fun to me.  I have to keep a close eye on my calendar:)  Today my Great-nephew Ryan is celebrating his graduation and I can't wait to see lots of family!

I just can't let it go too long without blogging:)  Seems like lots of folks just don't blog like they used to, me included.  Enjoy your day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
