Whew, I have been busy...

Busy days!  Track events with Alex and Avery started Thursday.  I always enjoy sitting side by side with my daughter Tracy and watching the girls compete in the events.  Alex is a Senior so this is her last year and Avery will have one more year before she graduates in 2024.  Sisters competing...

Late nights, drive thru for dinner and wait for the next meet this week.

We traveled to South Carolina on Friday to celebrate Marc's daughter Marcy's 50th birthday.  Her fella surprised her and she was very happy to see all of these faces.  We met so many of her friends from near and far and had a wonderful time.

Happy 50th Birthday this week Marcy!  Hope you are still celebrating.  We love you and so happy we were there with you for your fun party!

I made a photo board filled with memories...  SHE loved it!

The weather was perfect, we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine...

Happy Heavenly Birthday to my Sister Brenda on the 18th, I sure do miss her and this smile:(  Love you Brenda forever and always.

Back home, sipping my coffee, traveling wears me out more and more with every trip.  But, I will keep on keepin' on until I can't:)  Hope you all have a beautiful day, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Food, visitors, recipe and the big game...

Sometimes you just need a frozen pizza to throw in the oven, this is a great one.  We had two different pizzas, Holy Pepperoni and Supremus Maximus.  BOTH are delicious.  SO, pick up one of these and stick it in the freezer for a busy day dinner:)

This is why I needed a busy day dinner.  Sleepover with the Great-Grandchildren!  We spent SO much time in the Valentine crate, creating fun crafts.

They gave me two thumbs up for dinner:)

New Valentine goodies, shirts, stuffed animals and heart head-bands:)  These two sure make this Ganky smile!

I tried a new recipe when the kids were here, taco pinwheels.  They were really yummy.  Makes a great appetizer or add a salad, cheese dips and chips for a meal:)  You can find the recipe HERE!

Today is the BIG GAME and yes at 6:30PM, we will be glued to the TV watching the game and of course, the commercials.  I am a Patrick Mahomes fan but Jalen Hurts is a great QB too.  I hope it is a great game, I am sure it will be.

I had a busy week and a quiet Sunday morning is feeling mighty nice.  Shoulder problems had me at the doctor, x-rays showed inflammation in my rotator cuff.  Painful but will heal with time and therapy.  I hope all is well with my blog buddies.  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Do not pass out, two posts in one week...

Over the years since 2009, I posted most every day.  Times change and it just doesn't happen any more.  BUT, when I have something to say I post:)  If you have followed me for very long, you know I love flowers!  SO...

The first blooms were calling out for me to take their picture:)  I am thankful that I saw some jonquils on the side of the road so that I looked for mine and there they were.  The bright yellow pretties are a sign that Spring isn't too far away.  The thoughts of Spring had me "Spring-cleaning" yesterday.  I started with the kitchen, wiped down every cabinet/drawer.  They are really looking good, what's next?  Hmmmm... we'll see and I will let you know.

My Granddaughter Autumn and her husband Seth were awarded a trip to Vegas.  They had SO much fun, well deserved for these two busy Parents.

They took a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon, yikes... that's scary to me but they enjoyed it.  They sent lots of beautiful pictures from their travels.  Here is one of my favorites.

Now they are home and these two were happy to have their Mama to snuggle with!  It's nice to get away, but there is no place like home!

The MOON was big and beautiful last night.  I always sing this song when I see the moon and even record it for my loved ones...

"I see the moon; the moon sees me.
Down through the leaves of the old oak tree.
Please let the moon that shines on me.
Shine on the ones I love"

It's Saturday morning, my coffee is hot and I have absolutely no plans for the day!  That's ok with me.  Enjoy your weekend dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Catching up, yet again...

That's what I have been doing... Spending time with family!  It seems there just isn't much time to blog but when I find the time, I will.

We celebrated Christmas late in January with my Sister Cindy's family.  Bradley lives in Kentucky and we delay Christmas until they come down.  It was wonderful, I took very few pictures but here are a couple.

Three Siblings together and missing the three in Heaven.

My Great-nephew Reid and his bride Alex.  They were married in October in a private ceremony and we celebrated this past weekend with a wonderful reception.  I enjoyed it SO much seeing many loved ones all together.

Beautiful decorations, wonderful food and lots of fun!

Let's jump to little visitors.  Their Parents are on a week long trip out West.  Soooooo Tracy and I are tag-teaming babysitting duties.  They are a joy but really keep us busy.

I got thumbs up for dinner:)

The Barbie doll clothes that I ordered from Amazon were a huge hit.  I changed their clothes SO MANY times but it was fun:)  Here they are sporting their FANCY dresses.

Baths done and a little more playtime before we go night-night.  They are now with their Nana for the rest of the week.  I am enjoying my morning coffee but missing them terribly.

I think that catches up what I have been up to.  I hope you all are happy and healthy.  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
