Without a sink and busy days...

How long can you handle life without a kitchen sink, 10 days?  Yep and it has been a hassle!  My kitchen sink sprayer hose busted, plumber came out and said they would have to order a new sprayer.  It is finally here and should be fixed by dinner time.  What I learned is that you can make it thru if you just figure out how to work around a problem.  Fortunately we had water everywhere else and the dishwasher still worked:)

We have been busy doing lots of things around the house.  I have been decluttering (big job) shredding old papers and just feeling a little better about my storage areas.  Our Great-grandchildren are playing Tee-ball and of course we are watching them.  We have new additions to our family and I will share about that on another post.

Brooklyn and Jameson came for a sleepover Friday night and they bring happy to my heart.  We spent Saturday morning painting pumpkins, they loved it and both of them hung their pumpkin in their bedroom:)

I have had several doctor appointments, shoulder issues getting cortisone shot helps, MRI ordered to see what is going on.  I pray it is just arthritis or something and medicine can help.

Tracy and I made our annual visit to the Yellow Daisy Festival.  I love that day and look forward to it every year.

Alex is in College and Avery started her Senior year.  Exciting times for everyone.  So many happy times and yet there are friends with serious health issues that could use prayers!  SO... I hope all is well with you, thanks for visiting!  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Labor day and what's going on around here...

Yes it is Labor day again!  So many hard workers to be thankful for that built this great nation and keep it going!

It's the unofficial end of Summer but temps today didn't get the memo!  91 here for a high today!

Time sure flies by.  I seem to say that a lot lately but wow is it ever true.  I started the "great clean-out" and it has been quite a chore.  Lots of bags to donate, LOTS.  Garbage can is full again!  Lots more to do but I am pecking away at it and will continue doing a little bit every day.  The weather has been really nice and I am spending time outside daily too:)  Of course there are blooms to share!

This is a strawberry plant that my Sister Barbara gave me in 2010.  No strawberries yet but a few blooms:)  I know she is smiling from Heaven seeing it thriving.

Here is the plant with Strawberries in 2010... Thanks Barbara AKA Nanny THEN and NOW!

Dwarf gardenias are blooming...

Hydrangeas are still giving me some blooms...

August beauty gardenias are blooming...

The butterflies were everywhere while I was out watering, this guy was injured but kept right on flying!

This Birthday basket from my brother Leon and SIL Becky keeps me busy watering it but I sure have enjoyed the blooms.  This pretty butterfly stayed for the longest time and then flew away.

I found my OLD Autograph doggy!  It is perhaps from around 1965.  Some things are just worth hanging on to.  At the time I had 4 Siblings and they all signed it.  Isn't he cute and precious:)

Sweet Jameson starts Pre-School tomorrow.  HE is the happiest little fella and will love it SO much!

YES... we are getting ready to head back to the ballfield:)  Autumn started playing at Brooklyn's age.  I can't wait!

Jameson is playing too!  These kids give me SO much joy and I am thankful to be watching my GREAT-Grandkids do big things.

It seems like the long gaps between posts make for LONG posts:)  I still love my blog and blog friends but life has kept me pretty busy.  Enjoy your day dear friend, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
