Anniversary #38...

We started here, 38 years ago and we stopped on our way out of town to reminisce...

We have celebrated most of our anniversaries in the little North Georgia town of Helen.  The views are the same and still pretty...

Lunch on the river and lots of walking up and down the street, in and out of the little shops.  I still enjoy it after all of these years.

We rode around and looked at all of the places we have stayed over our many visits to this little mountain town.

We stopped at the Fred's peanut shop...

Isn't this a pretty Fall display...

We sat on the back deck listening to the river flowing over the rocks and got ready for our Anniversary dinner...

Where we always eat.  YUMMY food and lots of memories...

We entered the condo and I said "we have stayed here before".  We did in 2017.  I took this same photo of the little nutcracker in the wine cabinet.

Goodbye Helen, thanks for having us!  See you next year!

I realized how much my blog helps me remember when I started looking back at pictures from years past.  So I am posting for my memories of our 38th anniversary trip.  Have a blessed day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

And now it's Autumn...

My blog seems to take a back seat to everything!  We have been busy with lots of things and there just hasn't been much time to blog.  BUT, here I am checking in.

The swamp daisies are blooming.  LOOKIE how tall they are.  The little ones posed for a picture in front of them.

Brooklyn insisted we SNIP some and make a bouquet:)

We celebrated my Granddaughter Alex's 19th Birthday

Alex brought two of her College roommates to visit for her birthday.

Tracy and I try to always take a selfie:)

I was blessed to have my Great-grandchildren for a sleepover.  They love crafting.

We used paper grocery bags to cut out a pumpkin and a ghost.  They enjoy this and I enjoy watching them enjoy it:)

Aren't they cute!  They sure bring joy to my heart!  We are still spending Sunday afternoons watching the little ones play TEE-ball, it's almost over for this season and I will miss it.

Tomorrow Marc and I will be celebrating our 38th Wedding anniversary.  Where have the years gone?  Time really does fly by and I am thankful for each year on this Earth and thankful for the 38 years we have had together.

SO... I pray you are all healthy and happy.  I will pray for you and your family, please pray for me and mine.  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
