Oh it’s been a long time…

I have been a busy lady but can't neglect my blog for too long.  I will post pictures to catch up with why I have been gone so long.  Enjoying each day, even the busy ones.  Spending time outside when I can.  Flowers blooming, they always make me smile.

Our Granddaughter Avery turned 18.  We had some good time together, dinner out and yummy cookie cake.

Brooklyn's school hosted an Easter Egg hunt.  It was a rainy day but they hid the eggs in the Library.  Tracy and I had a great time seeing all of the little kids running around finding the eggs with their sight words on them.  Great idea to make sure the eggs are distributed equally.

Brooklyn is a little artist and was quite proud of her drawing.

Jameson had his Spring show and we were happy to be there to see it.

Jameson is also an artist and was very proud of his painting.

Lots of children singing, they learn SO much in a year.  It amazes me to see them all together putting on a show.

Avery is getting ready to graduate from High School.  Time to take some pictures.  Alex did a great job as her personal photographer at a local park.

Time for Prom!  Avery and Wilson, a good looking couple.  Off for a night of fun.

Brooklyn and Jameson posed with the Prom goers.

AND me:)

My main job for the last bunch of months was pulling this off.  A family reunion for my Mama and Daddy's Children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and GREAT-GREAT Grandchildren.  I counted 71 people in this picture.  This day made me SO happy.  We have suffered a lot of loss over the past few years, been together for 5 funerals but being together for a happy time was sure special.

Ganky and the Grandchildren, minus Austin and Great Grandchildren.  Austin had to work.

Tracy, Derek and the family

I made a memory table for those we have lost but never will be forgotten.

My Sister Cindy made two cakes for the reunion.  This one was from my Niece Sonia's wedding.  My Mama, Daddy and all of us together.  What a sweet memory.

And this cake had a picture of our Old Home Place on it.  It was perfect.

Last but certainly not least, my former coworker and forever friend with me and Marc.  We were so happy to be with San to ring the bell after she completed her Chemo.  She had pancreatic cancer, went thru a number of surgeries and after all of the surgeries and Chemo... she is looking healthy and happy.

We are planting tomatoes, doing lots of repairs to pool equipment, scrapbooking for Avery's Graduation gift and trying to keep up with everyday chores.  I have cleaned closets, taken SO many bags of clothes to our local clothes closet.  I am getting tired looking back at all of the happenings of the last few months and still lots of busy days ahead.

My absence has had a pretty good reason but I wanted to do a little catching up.  Have a blessed day, thanks for visiting.  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
