I missed Spring...

On April 17th I had my shoulder surgery.  4 weeks in a sling 24/7 and now I am in Physical Therapy twice a week.  It has been hard but I am recovering and doing everything I can to get full use of my shoulder.  ALL that said, that's where I have been and what I have been doing!  But... life goes on and here is a catch-up post.

Our Granddaughter Madison is a Marine.  We are SO proud of her and happy that we were there to witness her graduating from Boot Camp at Parris Island.

Madison is off on her training journey.  I can't wait to hear all about it.

The little ones came for a sleepover at Easter time and right before my surgery.  They added their special touch to the little Bunny Banner.

Jameson Graduated from Pre-K.  Look at that sweet smile.

Of course we were there...

And now he is off to Kindergarten in the Fall...

You know I have to show some flowers.  The hydrangeas are beautiful this year.  We have had a LOT of rain and that sure makes them even more gorgeous.

My gardenias have provided a bouquet for many weeks.  This gardenia is different than the others.  It is feathery.  The scent is heavenly.

Taller than me...

And this is how little it was when my daughter Tracy sent it to me on my Birthday back in 2018.

We celebrated Jameson's 5th birthday a little early.

Because they were off on a Disney cruise...

and a day at Disney when the ship returned.

So... That's a catch-up since my last post.  I hope all is well with all of you.  I missed Spring but will hopefully enjoy Summer:)  Have a blessed day, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Good morning my friends...

I haven't posted in a while, so doing a little catching up this morning:)  Flowers are blooming and I SO love this time of year.  These were transplanted from a friend that I used to work with.  LOVE shared flowers.

More shared flowers, yellow bells.  My Brother Leon shared them many years ago and I love seeing the bright yellow blooms every year.

This was a gift from my Step-daughter Anna for Christmas.  It is a small puzzle and was very hard but I stayed with it until it was finished.  Isn't it pretty, I am going to hang it for the hummingbirds to see when they visit:)

More pretties...  They don't last long but I sure enjoy them while they are blooming.

My little 1st grader Great-granddaughter Brooklyn.  She was asked by her last year Kindergarten teacher to read to the Kindergarten class.  This girl LOVES to read.

The little ones come for a sleepover and had new riding toys waiting on them.  Oh how they enjoyed riding in the driveway.  Makes me smile:)

Just a little luncheon get-together to make an announcement...

The announcement... A little brother is on the way.  Arriving in September.  We are over-the-moon happy and so are Brooklyn and Jameson.

That's a little of what I have been up to.  Working on getting the pool ready for Summer swimmers.  I hope all of you are doing well.  Sorry for the many breaks I take from Blogging, but I still pop in occasionally.  Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

Christmas, snow and graduation party...

OH MY, as hard as I try... I can't seem to get back in the Blogging habit.  I have lots to share, so here is another catch-up post!  Brooklyn and Jameson came for a sleepover and opened some gifts.  They give me a heartful of JOY!

We made cookies, they put them out for Santa:)

They pose for me, CHEESING for Ganky!

This was a picture Autumn shared from their house...  SO sweet!

Christmas morning at Autumn's...  Nana and Pops gave Jameson this huge Hot Wheels track, he loved it.

Brooklyn showing off her skills with her new gym equipment that Santa brought...

I enjoyed it so much and so did the kiddos...  Not many pictures but a whole lot of fun!

Autumn said, we forgot to take a group picture:(  Yes we forgot but had a wonderful time together!

I enjoyed a Christmas Eve lunch with my Brother Leon and his family...

Christmas with my Knoxville family the day after Christmas...

We had SNOW and this pretty cardinal enjoyed my new Christmas birdhouse from Tracy and family.  I can't believe how many times she flew away and returned for more.

Our snow #1...

Our snow #2...

Off to Knoxville again to celebrate our Granddaughter Madison, High School graduation and send-off to the Marine Corps.  All Grandchildren get a scrapbook when they graduate, this is the first page of Madison's.  She loved it and I loved making it.

Graduation party, Parents with their graduate/Marine recruit...

Ganky and Pa with Madison...

The three Siblings...

Next up... Valentine's Day.  I found this heart with Tracy's picture in my cedar chest.  The cedar chest was a graduation gift from my Parents in 1972.  I loved finding the sweet handmade heart by my little girl, now 51.  I just love finding treasures like this.

We have had really cold weather but this week it is gonna feel like Spring.  I am happy for a little warm weather!  Have a blessed and beautiful day dear friends, sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!
